| Today Gävle Tråd spools are used worldwide.
The machines for producing the GT spools have been further developed and adjustments of the spools have been made to further improve the properties.
One of the features making the GT spools the quality leader of existing wire spools is the geometry and tight tolerances. This gives the GT spool an outstanding stability that will allow the BS300 spool to carry 20 kg and the BS200 to carry 5 kg of wire with extremely good winding and unwinding properties. It also makes it possible to have a close and regular control of the measures in production, which is not the case for other wire spools. GT spools meet all existing environmental requirements.

| PWM, leading UK manufacturer of cold pressure welding equipment, is launching a new compact hydraulic rod welder at wire Düsseldorf 2006 (stand 9B41).
The new P1000 is designed for fast, cost-effective welding of non-ferrous rod. It has a wide capacity of 6mm up to 16mm (.236" to .630") copper and 6mm to 20mm (.236" to .790") aluminium.
