| International show organiser, Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group, has acquired the entire shareholding of Fastener Fairs Limited for an undisclosed figure.
Fastener Fair, which takes place in Stuttgart, Germany, is Europe’s largest trade exhibition for fastener technology: 625 exhibitors and some 6,000 visitors attended the record exhibition in October 2009. A satellite event of the show, targeted to the Hungarian fastener and fixing market, will be organised again in Budapest in September 2010. With Fastener Fairs Limited, Mack Brooks also acquired the ‘Fastener+Fixing Magazine’, read by more than 30,000 fastener professionals worldwide.
