| LS Cable (CEO Chayol Koo) announced that it entered into an agreement with major European and Asian carriers to supply optical cables worth about $70 million in total. In some product groups of LS Cable, the so-called “Reverse Sandwich Effect” is becoming a reality.
Following the agreement with Vietnam’s No. 1 carrier, Viettel, for the supply of optical cables worth $30 million, LS Cable followed through by making headlines in the European and Asian markets with a $15 million contract with UK’s No. 1 CATV service provider, Virgin Media, and a $10 million contract to supply Colt Telecom, a network service provider that spans Europe. |
